A 1,000m long ribbon roll N 408 Sw has a diameter of 92 mm - on a roll of a standard wax/resin near-edge quality of the same diameter would only be 820 - 880 m. So there is 18% more ribbon (length) on a roll of the same diameter, downtime of packaging lines is minimised by fewer roll changes.

The quality is very sensitive and reaches very high print speeds - up to 1000mm/s in the TTO range (Thermal Transfer Overprint).

The print has a high resolution and on films a very good blackness.

Generally suitable for printing on packaging films, it can also be used for printing on film and paper labels.

N 408 Sw is suitable for use in the food industry. The main application is direct printing of packaging films in the food sector.
